Insurance And Payment Information
All the physicians at Raleigh Ophthalmology are participating physicians with Medicare. We are providers for BC/BS, Aetna, Mamsi, Cigna-Healthsource, United Healthcare, Generations, Partners, Medcost, Health Care Savings.
We are participating with almost all the plans available in the Triangle, but please call or email us if you do not see your plan listed.
We strive to make the staff knowledgable in all aspects of each plan and will try to answer any questions you may have. While most plans require patients to obtain authorizations from their primary care doctor, we are available to help whenever possible.
Raleigh Ophthalmology, in accordance with the guidelines of the insurance companies, is required to get the appropriate copays at the time of service.
If no insurance is applicable for a particular service, payment is required at the time of service unless other arrangements are made prior to the visit.
